Private university · founded 1969 · Bang Kapi (Hua Mak) / Bang Na (Suvarnabhumi)
Assumption University, commonly known by its long-standing abbreviation ABAC, was founded in 1969 as Assumption Business Administration College and later expanded into a full university, run by the Brothers of St. Gabriel Catholic order. It was Thailand's first fully English-medium international university, with all instruction delivered in English across every faculty.
ABAC operates two Bangkok campuses: the original, smaller Hua Mak city campus, and the larger Suvarnabhumi campus near Bang Na and Suvarnabhumi Airport, which hosts most faculties and student residences today.
