Office of the Governor of Chiang Rai Province
Chiang Rai Provincial Hall is the seat of the Provincial Governor and the province's highest level of civil administration, located on Mae Fa Luang Road in Rim Kok sub-district on the eastern side of the city near the Mae Kok River. It also houses the Chiang Rai Public Relations Office and several other provincial-level departments, confirmed via the Public Relations Office's own official contact page (prchiangrai@prd.go.th, tel +66 (0)53 150 163).
Provincial Hall functions primarily as the administrative and ceremonial centre of provincial government rather than a walk-in office for routine personal paperwork; individuals with everyday visa, land or district-level business are better served at Chiang Rai Immigration (in Mae Sai, or the Rim Kok one-stop-service branch) or the Chiang Rai Provincial Land Office.
