Overview

Land Office at a glance

The Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Land Office (under the national Department of Lands) is the office of record for title deeds (Chanote and other title types), land transfers, mortgages and related property transactions anywhere in the province -- the office foreign condo and land buyers ultimately deal with when a transfer is registered.

Property buyers and owners based in Hua Hin or Pranburi do not need to travel to the main Prachuap Khiri Khan town office for most transactions: the Land Office operates dedicated branch offices closer to those areas -- a Hua Hin branch at 62/3 Phetkasem Road, Nong Kae, Hua Hin, and a Pran Buri branch in Khao Noi, Pran Buri -- which is where the great majority of foreign-buyer property transfers in this province are actually registered.

Address: Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan District, Prachuap Khiri Khan 77000 (main provincial office; phone 0-3261-1211)
Hours: Monday-Friday, standard Thai government office hours (approximately 8:30 AM-4:30 PM with a lunch break) -- confirm before visiting
Phone: 0-3261-1211
Getting there: In Prachuap Khiri Khan town. Property owners based in Hua Hin or Pranburi generally do not need to travel to the main office -- see the branch note below.
