Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Administration, Ministry of Interior
Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Hall is the seat of the provincial governor and the central administrative building for Prachuap Khiri Khan province -- the government building that houses the governor’s office and coordinates the province’s district offices, departments and public services, similar in role to a provincial hall anywhere else in Thailand.
It sits in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan, the province’s own (smaller, quieter) capital town on the Gulf coast -- distinct from Hua Hin, which is the province’s larger, more internationally known resort town further north. Foreigners living in Hua Hin, Pranburi or elsewhere in the province rarely need to visit the Provincial Hall directly for routine matters (immigration, driving licences and district registration are handled at more convenient local branch offices), but it is the top administrative authority for the whole province.
Address: Sala Chip Road, Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan District, Prachuap Khiri Khan 77000
Hours: Monday-Friday, standard Thai government office hours (approximately 8:30 AM-4:30 PM with a lunch break) -- confirm before visiting, as individual departments inside the building can vary
Phone: Contact via the provincial government switchboard -- see official site for current department-specific numbers.
Getting there: In Prachuap Khiri Khan town itself, on Sala Chip Road -- reachable by songthaew, taxi or a short drive from the town centre and the train station. Note this is a different town from Hua Hin, which sits roughly 60-70 km north within the same province.
Looking for immigration or the Hua Hin District Office instead? Both are covered on our Hua Hin government offices page.
