Trang Land Office at a glance

The Trang Provincial Land Office, on the Trang-Palian road in Ban Khuan sub-district, is the province's primary Department of Lands office and the single most relevant government office in Trang for property buyers, sellers and owners — Thai or foreign.

This office handles land and condominium title deed (chanote) transactions, including the foreign-ownership quota registration condominium buyers need (foreigners may own up to 49% of the saleable area of a condominium building freehold), plus leasehold registration, mortgage registration and land surveying (rangwat). The main office covers Mueang Trang and Na Yong districts directly; Huai Yot, Kantang, Yan Ta Khao and Sikao districts are served by their own branch land offices.
